It took Nitto almost a year to create this sweater. From the careful choice of yarn to the knitting settings, including the selection of the stitch and especially the finishing, each step has been thought out to obtain this unique softness. A knit that is neither too thin nor too thick, knitted entirely by machine, with 3 threads in each needle, for a finish of rare purity: clean edges, a collar without additions, and dropped shoulders that perfectly fit the shape of the shoulder.
Knitted all over means that the sweater comes out of the machine almost finished. So there are no seams. This is what gives this piece this unrivalled purity. Only the collar, the cuffs and the bottom of the piece require manual human intervention. The detail of the shoulder line, which is so particular and necessary to reverse the direction of the mesh, gives a stylistic effect that we find remarkable. The thinness of the gauge used to make this sweater will allow it to be worn almost all year round. This time, the knit of the sweater is jersey, which gives the yarn the most room to show off its qualities and in particular its softness obtained thanks to the fineness of the fibers used by the spinner to make this yarn.
